The Scottsdale Soccer Blackhawks utilize City of Scottsdale fields for training. In addition, Scottsdale Soccer has secured a partnership with the Salt River Fields at Talking Stick to use training fields from August through Thanksgiving. Training fields are allocated by the Directors of Coaching (DOC’s) in cooperation with the Scottsdale Soccer VP of Fields. Teams are assigned to their training fields based on their Coach, Coach’s schedule and the City of Scottsdale / Salt River Fields at Talking Stick allocations.
NOTE – Field usage, maintenance and playable conditions are controlled and determined by the City of Scottsdale NOT Scottsdale Soccer. The City of Scottsdale has established a “Rainout” number, updated by 3:00pm daily, to advise on field status. That number is (480) 312-7246 (RAIN).
IMPORTANT – Team Managers cannot cancel practices, games or other events, based on field status, without the approval of the Coach and Scottsdale Soccer Directors of Coaching (DOC’s).
IMPORTANT – Please leave the fields that Scottsdale Soccer utilizes cleaner than when we found them. A clean sideline, after our use, shows the field managers that we care about our usage and are respectful to other facility patrons. Please follow facility rules and staff direction regarding parking or any other facility requirements.
