What is Boys ECNL?
The Boys Elite Clubs National League (Boys ECNL) was founded to improve the daily environment for boy’s youth soccer players through a collaborative club-based development program featuring competition, player identification, and coaching and club development platforms. The Boys ECNL will include both regular season conference games and cross-conference events, and qualifying teams from the Boys ECNL will advance to the post-season Elite National Premier League (ENPL) Playoffs.

Who Can Play? Boys in ages 14U – 19U


What level of play is the Boys ECNL? For the Scottsdale Blackhawks the 14U, 15U, 16U, 17U and 19U teams, this will be our highest level of play.


Will there be Tryouts for Boys ECNL? SBHs tryouts have already concluded but if you are still interested in trying out for our ECNL teams please contact Adam Burke, Boys ECNL Director, at adam@scottsdalesoccer.com

What Clubs are in Boys ECNL? SBHs will play in the Southwest Conference, which consists of 12 clubs. There will be a CA Division and a AZ/NV Division

  • CA Division...Beach SC, West Coast, Legends, Del Mar Sharks, LA Premier and Slammers SC                    
  • AZ/NV Division...Blackhawks, Heat, Players, TSA, Sereno and Arsenal

How Many League Games do they play? 16 - 22 games with up to 3 showcases. June Playoffs and July Nationals.

  • The 14U age group will play over the full year and attend the April ECNL National event in April
  • The 15U - 19U age groups will play a fall season and a spring season breaking for High School at the end of November...these age groups will attend 1 or 2 ECNL National events, one in April and one in May          
  • The 15U players that are in 8th grade and don't break for High School will join the 14U Boys ECNL team through the winter months

What is the cost to play Boys ECNL? The fee structure will be released soon.
