Jill Tomminello

Soccer has always been a big part of Jill’s life. She began playing as a child and continued to play until recently when she began coaching her son. Jill grew up in Delaware where she played for Kirkwood Soccer Club and was a part of the ODP program. She was a 4 time All-State player and went on to be an assistant coach for her former high school team after graduation. Jill attended the University of Delaware where she got her Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education and then her Master of Education in Applied Educational Technology from Wilmington University. After college, Jill went on to be an elementary Physical Education teacher and then a Title I Math Specialist. She has been an educator for 15 years. Coaching soccer enables her to continue being a part of the sport that she loves while also working with kids. She believes strongly in developing not only the skills, but the character and teamwork that is such an important part of the sport.
