Spring Recreation

Recreational Spring League Overview

The PRFC Youth Soccer Recreational Spring League is a community based non-coed soccer program for boys and girls in PreK (age 4 as of 12/31/2019) through 4th grade. Coaches are selected from parent volunteers who make the program run!

The 9-game season will be played on Saturdays from March 7 through May 9, 2020. (No games on March 14, the second Saturday of Scottsdale Unified Schools Spring break.)

Player applications to participate are accepted from December to January 23.  After January 24, the 'wait list period' begins from which players are placed on teams on a first come, first served basis to fill openings as they become available. We consistently place over 90% of players from the Wait List so do not hesitate to sign up. Any wait list players who are not placed will be refunded in full.

Coaches will receive their rosters by February 23. Coaches are then encouraged to contact their players immediately and practices can begin as early as the week of February 24.

Can I help?
As a volunteer-based organization we are always in need of coaches.  When you register your player, please sign up to coach or assist. Thank you to all past, present and future coaches who volunteer their valuable time.

PLEASE NOTE: Our PRFC Youth Soccer Recreational and Competitive Soccer Programs are intended to be mutually exclusive: Competitive Program players play for the Competitive Program and cannot also register for the Recreational Program. Likewise, Recreational Program players cannot also register and play for the Competitive Program.
