They’ve done it AGAIN!!! The 96 Blackhawks Boys have earned their 5th consecutive State Cup Title and are now in an ELITE group of AZ Boys Team Champions. They are now eligible to represent the State and our Club in the Region IV Championships this June in Hawaii.

COLIN JACKSON, 95 Blackhawks, Commits to Division III Men's Soccer Program at Lake Forest College
Congratulations to Colin Jackson, of the 95 Blackhawks and coached by Vic Davidson, on his future soccer career at Lake Forest College. Lake Forest College is a liberal arts college in Illinois, 30 miles north of Chicago and only one mile from Lake Michigan. The school was ranked as a top 100 liberal arts school in the nation by US News. Colin will be majoring in Environmental Studies, with the aid of an academic scholarship.

ZACH MARKS, 96 Blackhawks, Commits to Division I Men's Soccer Program At Davidson College
Congratulations to Zach Marks, of the 96 Blackhawks and coached by Adam Burke, on his future endevour to Davidson College. Zach verbally committed to Davidson College where he will be playing Division I soccer in 2014. Forbes ranks Davidson College as #30 academically in the US. Zach was initially seen by the coaches at National League this past November. They had another chance to see him at their ID camp in late March. Zach was offered an athletic scholarship at Davidson where he will major in Political Science.

SAM GLEADLE, 96 Blackhawks, Commits to Division I Men's Soccer Program at the University of New Mexico
Congratulations to our very own 96 Blackhawk, Samuel Gleadle, who verbally commited to the University of New Mexico’s Division I Men’s Soccer Program for 2014. The UNM Men’s Soccer Program is ranked #10 by NCAA and #11 by Top Draw Soccer and College Soccer News. They received the National Soccer Coaches Association of America’s Team Academic Award and have 3 seniors receiving professional contracts and numerous players on the Mexican U20 MNT, Canadian U20 MNT and USA U20 MNT. 96 Blackhawks Win Inaugural Season of National Premier League's NEW Mountain Developmental League
Congratulations to our 96 Blackhawks Boys who took the National Premier League (NPL) by storm in it’s Inaugural Season of the Mountain Developmental League by winning all 5 of their games, scoring a commanding 13 goals and only conceding 3. The boys, faced with numerous adversity-injury, absenses and older opponents, never gave up the intensity and energy to prevail in every single game! Now they are headed to the Mountain Developmental League playoffs for a chance to reach the NPL National Cup. More information here

Blackhawks Soccer Festival Celebrates the Efforts and Successes of Both Players and Teams- Congrats to All
Over 1000 parents and players enjoyed our end of season spectacular, the Blackhawk Soccer Festival at Chaparral Park - players from our ’06, ’05, ’04 and ’03 Blackhawk and Recreational ’All Star’ teams enjoyed an evening of music, face painting, playing and an athletes parade. The Festival signifies the conclusion of our Competitive Division’s season for the year and gave an opportunity to celebrate the player’s and team’s efforts and successes.
00 Blackhawks Girls Bring Home the GOLD at the Las Vegas Players Showcase
The ’00 Blackhawks black girls, currently ranked #1 in AZ, travelled to Las Vegas this past weekend to participate in the Las Vegas Players Showcase. The team came out on top, heading their group with results against teams from Utah, Nevada and California, and then beat a very good team Oklahoma FC who are OKlahoma State Champs and currently ranked #3 in Region 3 in the semis. Lauren Clement (95 Blackhawks) Signs "Letter of Intent" for Spring Hill College
Lauren Clement, Team Captain of the Scottsdale Soccer Blackhawks 95 Girls Black from Scottsdale, Arizona, signs her Letter of Intent with Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama, on March 14th, 2013. Lauren will be an upcoming 2013 graduate of Pinnacle High School and looks forward to playing for the Spring Hill Badgers in the fall as they make their transition from NAIA to NCAA Division II.
Lauren counts her long commitment to the Scottsdale Soccer Blackhawks and the new Scottsdale Soccer Blackhawks College Advisory Program as vital components to this opportunity. Congratulations to Lauren on this achievement and good luck as a College Soccer Player!
